Saturday, March 16: Sustainability Fair (Repair Cafe} Call for 'fixers' and repairers The Fair will take place in the afternoon starting at 1:00 PM, at the Griffiths Centre. It will be free of charge to those who attend for help. We are looking for volunteers who may have trade skills, experience of repair work, or hobbyists / enthusiasts who would be willing to help visitors to fix their faulty equipment and small appliances, repair toys, mend furniture, fix fabric items, etc. The goal is to give new life to things we all have around the home that are broken, torn, missing parts, or just not doing the job they are supposed to do. Repair and fixing is the aim, along with a bit of education for the younger generations, rather than just adding to landfill and the expense of replacing still potentially serviceable items. Do you know and have the skills needed to assist the public to try to fix their faulty or much loved things needing a bit of tender loving care and attention. If you think you have some skills you can pass on to those in the community without the knowledge needed, and might be willing to share to help out, please contact: Ken Dutton at: ken664@gmail.com and he'll be delighted to give you more details and how the afternoon will work.

Only one week left as last day for tickets will be noon on Friday, March 15. Happy Hour at 4:30 🍷🍺🍷🍺🍷🍺 (some Guinness will also be available)

Saturday Breakfasts will now start at 9:30 ending at 12:30.
New features will be introduced to the regular menu to reflect breakfast/brunch type items such as muffins, maybe soup, etc. but only on Saturdays. (Your input will be greatly appreciated).
So please come and experience these later hours and enjoy a hearty breakfast/brunch created by Jeannine.
