Learn to Move
Active Living Program

Learn to Move is a gentle exercise program, with an education component. It was designed specifically for adults with chronic health conditions or physical limitations that prevent them from participating in other classes, or who are new to exercise and not sure where to start. Participants learn how exercise and an active lifestyle can help improve health and quality of life. The class includes a gentle warm-up, cardiovascular, strength, balance and flexibility exercises. Participants receive individualised guidance based on their health conditions and physical abilities. By the end of the four weeks, participants will have developed a plan to continue with an active lifestyle after program completion. The first four weeks of the program are free to everyone thanks to the Calgary Rural PCN (Primary Care Network) and the Griffiths Senior Centre.

Classes run Tuesdays and Fridays from 1:30 – 3 p.m. Please click here for registration details.
